Restrictions and Expectations for all Coach & Spectator Boats

1.

You MUST visibly display the numbered flag assigned to your vessel at all times when out on the water during the races.

2.

A $50 refundable deposit will be required for flags. The $50 deposit WILL NOT BE REFUNDED if the flags are LOST. All flags MUST be returned to the Registration Tent at Rowells Marina or Upper Keys Sailing Club at the end of the day on Sunday.

3.

Coach & spectator boats may be launched from the public ramp at the Caribbean Club $10, or at the Upper Keys Sailing Club ramp

4.

Spectator boats MUST remain 200 yards away from the race course. Coach Boats for RWB must stay 100 yards away from the course. Green Fleet coaches are allowed to coach the back of the fleet. Failure to abide by this rule will lead to the boat’s immediate ejection from the race course and from club grounds.

5.

All coach and spectator boats are expected to carry a VHF radio tuned in to each race course’s channel. The owner or driver must also carry his/her cell phone while on the boat on the race course at all times.

6.

Boat trailers can be left onsite and parked overnight in a designated area of Rowell’s Marina or Upper Keys Sailing Club.

7.

Please abide by all the rules, boat responsibly and most of all have an AWESOME time at the Buccaneer Blast Regatta!

I agree with all of the above restrictions and expectations for spectator boats at the Buccaneer Blast Regatta.
